It’s the end of the season and many of us are heading off for our summer jobs, spring vacations or new adventures. I find at this time of the year I am always amazed at how fast the season flies by.

At the School District 20 Community Focus Group meeting held at RSS on March 3, attendees were put into groups, and were asked to answer three questions relating to the facilities report scenario 17B that they put forward.

A young man displayed all the traits of a noble and excellent anarchist — not a so-called anarchist who willfully destroys property in a black-scarved tantrum, but one who, despite human folly, creates the kind of world that doesn’t need policing.

“Riding the dragon” is a term used to describe the concept of riding on a known weak layer and hopefully getting away with it. Why is it possible to ride these weak layers and not trigger them? And then what makes them fail — all of a sudden?

A double standard is alive and well at Rossland City Hall. Homeowners in Rossland are required to get all necessary permits and meet all requirements before they can do even small renovations to their homes.
