Historically the Rossland Winter Carnival’s ‘The Game’ Rail Jam would take place on Queen’s St. in the downtown core.

However, due to the recent surge in the Omicron COVID virus, the Winter Carnival committee decided not to hold any community events that attracted large crowds.

So the Rail Jam changed venues and was hosted by RED Mountain Resort. With its rails, boxes, and jumps already intact at the Terrain Park, dozens of boarders and skiers kept the tradition going, riding the rails high and wild in 2022.

Thanks to the organizers and participants for putting on a great show.
