Aug 25, 1950 - Jan 4, 2018
It is with great sadness that I announce the passing of my husband Ken Hill. I was by his side when he passed in the late afternoon of Jan 4, 2018 at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton AB.

Ken leaves behind his wife Josie, his sister Margaret Rose, his brother Dan (Bonnie) and many nieces and nephews.

Ken was born in Trail, BC on Aug 25, 1950. He spent most of his life in the West Kootenays until he moved to Edmonton in 2013.

He graduated from SAIT after high school with a certificate in Chemical Technology leading into a position at Cominco (Teck). He worked there for 37 years as an Assayer and an Industrial Hygienist. He was very dedicated to his work.

Ken loved life: he enjoyed hockey with the Labatt's hockey team and was nicknamed "wheels". He enjoyed slow pitch, X country skiing, biking, snowshoeing, hiking, vintage cars and reading.

Ken loved being married and was a happy, devoted, loving husband for the precious 8 years we had together.

Ken will be remembered for his generosity toward others, his kindness, his laugh, his love for life, family and friends,

He will be sadly missed by his wife Josie, his family and many long time friends.

Remember me when you hear the wind blow. I am with god, I need you to know. He called my name, and I went to see if the voice was speaking to me. He spoke to me. I heard him say, you are home now, my child, you have found your way. So remember when you hear the wind blow I am home now with god, I need you to know.

At Ken's request there will be no service.
