April 25, 1965 - January 25, 2021
It is with great sadness that the family of Dennis McNulty announces his passing on January 25, 2021 at the age of 55 following a stoic battle with cancer.
Dennis was born in Calgary, Alberta on April 25, 1965. He moved to Rossland, in 1966. Dennis attended St. Michael's School in Trail, McLean Elementary School and Rossland Senior Secondary. Dennis spent his adult life amongst the mountains developing a passion for backcountry activities. He frequently could be found skiing, hiking and canoeing.
Dennis understood what was truly meaningful in life - relationships. He loved his weekly snooker games with his buddies. Dennis was always ready to drop what he was doing if you needed a helping hand. He was warm, welcoming, friendly, and reliable. Dennis was the center of any gathering. He was a phenomenal storyteller and historian as well as a great singer. Dennis made a living using his hands. He was a talented carpenter and was skilled in many trades. His presence will be greatly missed by all.
Dennis is predeceased by his parents, Patricia and Dan McNulty and brother-in-law Mike. Dennis is survived by sister Patti Schrader and brothers Gerry (Evelyn), Kevin (Susinn), Tom (Dianne) Tim (Kristin). Many nieces and nephews, an Aunt and Uncle, and numerous cousins.
There will be a celebration of life when Covid restrictions are lifted and we can come together to remember Dennis' wonderful life in the way he would have enjoyed best - together with those he loved.
