Arthur Eugene Riemer

April 15, 1931 - October 9, 2019
Left to forever remember him are his wife of 66 years, Gerry (Honey); his children, all of whom he loved without reservation and was very proud of, Lowell, Andrea, Dean, and Angie; grandchildren: Lowell's family, Brittany, Shale, and Kyle; Andrea's family, A.J. and Reillee; Dean's daughter, Stephanie; Angie's (Jamie) family, Madison and Jesse; three great grands; sister, Anne (Troy) of Ontario, Hedey of Coquitlam; nieces, nephews and their families; as well as many extended family members and friends.
Arthur was a man of integrity, honesty, and was respected for his fair dealings in the business world. His successes started with banking - 10 years with TD; fast food - 10 years with Dari Lou Drive In; sports shop - 15 years with Wintersporthouse (Red Mountain) in Rossland; hotel - 6 years with Thunderbird Inn in Port Hardy; and enjoyed retired life for 27 years.
We, as a family, can not express our love for him only to say "We love you, we will miss you, and we will always carry your in our hearts."
Fish with your son in law, John; Sail with your brother in law, Bob, And wait for me.

There will be a gathering of friends and family from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at Simonholt Restaurant, 6582 Applecross Road in Nanaimo. Come and raise a glass to honour a great husband, father, and great grandfather.
