Trail police catch impaired driver, prohibited driver

Wrong way on the highway leads to impaired investigation in Warfield

Friday night (May 31), a frontline Trail and Greater District RCMP officer was on routine patrol when he spotted a 47-year-old Rossland man driving his vehicle on the wrong side of the highway in the 1300 block of Highway 3B, in Warfield.

The officer detained the man and his vehicle roadside.

A demand was read to the driver, who provided a sample of his breath roadside that police say resulted in a “fail.”
