The repair of a popular sidewalk along Highway 3B in Trail is backing up traffic this week.
Crews from Hil-Tech Contracting Ltd. are on site to stabilize a stretch of the pedestrian walkway from Shavers Bench to Glenmerry, which is causing some early morning congestion.
The city asks motorists and pedestrians to obey all signage and take caution driving or walking in this area. For those on foot, a dedicated route is available during the work period.
The estimated date for completion is Friday.
