Public works manager Darrin Albo said crews will be seen this week using sophisticated cameras to navigate Washington and Columbia’s sewer system as Rossland gets it’s first thorough medical check-up prior to the major surgeries planned for 2012.
Crews will direct robots to travel mains and look up branches along the way, both to inspect the condition of the different kinds of pipes that make up Rossland’s old system, and also to map their location.
