Rossland Museum & Discovery Centre AGM Thurs., Nov. 25th at 5:30 pm.

The Rossland Museum and Discovery Centre is inviting the public to join the discussion and participate in its Annual General Meeting on Nov. 25.

“If you want to learn more about what we do up at the museum, our mission, our current projects, and our future goals, this would be the perfect time to check in with us,” said manager Fiona Lane.

The Research Department will also take some time to update everyone on our upcoming Digital Museums Canada virtual exhibit on racing on Red Mountain - followed by an incredible video from 1990 by Richie Mann on a trip to the top of Grey with the “Builders of Red Mountain!”

Residents can also purchase their museum memberships for adult, senior, youth, or family pass, which allows for year-round access to the museum, discounts on programs and the museum shop, as well as your AGM vote.

“Everyone is welcome to join us for the AGM!” said Lane.

Masks are required as is pre-registration for contact tracing and to allow time to prepare the setup with appropriate physical distancing.

The meeting starts at 5:30 p.m.

Residents can register online at evite.me/1EkewgMFs8.
