IF3 Mountain Biking 2023 and Rossland Mountain Film Festival are thrilled to announce “Wheels ‘N Reels,” an action-packed event celebrating the exhilarating world of mountain biking films on June 23 and 24.
This event will showcase captivating movies and offer a range of exciting activities for attendees of all ages.
“Wheels ‘N Reels” will kick off at the prestigious Rossland Summit School Auditorium, providing the perfect setting for a cinematic experience like no other. The event features two separate and unique two-hour screenings, presenting the very best films the mountain biking industry has to offer. These films, carefully curated from iF3 Mountain Biking 2023, capture the spirit of adventure and adrenaline that defines mountain biking, showcasing breathtaking visuals and awe-inspiring feats.
The event kicks off at the Rossland Legion on June 23 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door and there will be live music to follow from Bella Cat Silly Snake Squad.
The other movie screenings, held on June 24, will go from 1 to 3 p.m., a movie matinee featuring a carefully selected program that will differ from the Main Event.
Attendees can look forward to a captivating lineup of films that highlight the diverse aspects of mountain biking.
The Movie Main Even runs from 6-8:30 p.m. and will feature the exclusive premiere of the TGR Biking film Esperanto, showcasing remarkable biking feats and mesmerizing cinematography.
The evening show will be hosted by local trailbuilder and freerider Ryan Kuhn, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Both movie screenings will be family-friendly and suitable for all ages, allowing everyone to revel in the excitement of mountain biking on the big screen.

In addition to the movie screenings, “Wheels ‘N Reels” offers an array of activities for attendees.
Mountain Biking: Experience the thrill of mountain biking with Kootenay Mountain Biking, who will provide shuttles throughout the day. Pick-ups will be available every half hour from 10 a.m. to noon at the bottom of the ‘Green Door’ trail in Warfield. The cost is $5 per person.

Kids’ Activities: Engage your little ones with fun and interactive events designed just for them. From 10 to 11 a.m. at Sourdough Alley, enjoy the Free Kids Bike Show, where they can dress up their bikes in the coolest decorations and participate in a parade.
Prizes will be awarded for the best-dressed bike. A free bike safety course will also be available for kids.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sourdough Alley, children can bounce and play in the free kids’ bouncy castle and get their faces painted with exciting designs.
Community Rides: Join the organized community rides starting at 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. with the Rossland Muddbunnies. The rides will start outside Rossland Brewing Company on a set schedule and will cater to all skill levels, offering beginner, intermediate, and advanced options.
