Missing Slocan Park woman last seen in Trail

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding Elena Popoff, 64, who hasn’t been seen or heard from since Tuesday.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a local woman who hasn’t been seen or heard from since Tuesday. Elena Popoff, 64, of Slocan Park was last confirmed to be in the Trail area.

“She had some appointments there but never returned,” said Cst. Alan Van Hussen of the Slocan Lake RCMP. “This is not typical of her as she regularly stays in contact with friends and family.”

Popoff was driving a gray Nissan pathfinder with BC license plate 210 TMD. She stands about 5’5” and weighs 135 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes and wears glasses.
