Regional fire rescue responded to a reported gas leak at JF Auto Centre in Trail Monday morning. Deputy Regional Fire Chief Dan Derby said there was work being done behind the building with a machine and a gas line was breached in result. Both JF Auto staff and its neighbour Able Plastics were evacuated from the buildings until the scene was secured and the gas was pinched off by FortisBC.
