The City of Rossland is looking for people to join its official community plan (OCP) advisory committee.
According to the city, committee members will be responsible for guiding the draft OCP’s objectives, policies and implementation strategies moving forward.
Committee members will also be asked to work on a topic area of the OCP that they have previous experience in such as housing, education or infrastructure.
If you’re interested in joining the committee, send an email/letter to city manager of development services Stacey Lightbourne outlining what topic area you’d like to work in and the qualifications you hold.
You have until June 5 to send your submissions to the city.
Council will review the submissions during a meeting scheduled for June 15.
