A potential cat-atrophic call to Trail RCMP.

Friday afternoon, (Oct. 4) a frontline officer from the Trail and Greater District RCMP received an unusual call from a Trail residence about an argument between two people over a cat's feeding routine.

The cat's owner was worried that the feline was being overfed, while the other individual, who had purchased the food, believed the cat needed to eat more.

The situation was tense, but when the officer arrived, they were able to help the two work out a feeding plan that satisfied both parties — and hopefully, the cat too.

"We are glad that the officer help them avoid a cat-atrophe over this disagreement," quips Sgt. Mike Wicentowich.
