The Trail Ambassadors Committee is set to present the annual Trail Ambassador Pageant this Friday, May 9, at 7 p.m.
The event, a highlight of Silver City Days, marks the conclusion of the Trail Ambassador Programme, a youth initiative that equips participants with life skills and promotes civic pride in the City of Trail.
The pageant will be held in the Bailey Theatre and will run approximately two and a half hours, including a 15-minute intermission.
The Bailey Theatre lounge will be open before the show and during the break, offering bar service and concessions.
Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased online or through the box office, open weekdays from noon to 4 p.m.
Viewers who purchase online will receive a Zoom link by 4 p.m. on show day for at-home viewing.
After that time, online sales close, but tickets can still be purchased by calling the box office at 250-368-9669 starting at 6 p.m., an hour before showtime.
Organizers recommend contacting the box office between 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. on the night of the event if there are any issues accessing the Zoom link.
The Trail Ambassador Programme has long served as a stepping stone for young people in the region, encouraging leadership, community involvement, and public speaking.
Friday night’s event promises an entertaining showcase as a new team of ambassadors is chosen to represent the city in the coming year.
