Skip Nando Salviulo slides out of the hack at Super League curling.

Another week in the Trail Super League sponsored by Kootenay Savings saw most games go down to the wire, with only one blowout.

Team Myron Nichol took on Team Bartlett Excavating, skipped by Cody Bartlett this week. Skip Myron made a nice quiet hit n stay for a field goal in the 1st, then took advantage of some tricky ice to steal singles in the 2nd and 3rd ends. Team Bartlett got their deuce in 4, then were looking to steal the 5th before Skip Nichol drew around guards to the edge of the button to count one. Another Nichol steal of one in the 6th brought out the velcro, for the 7-2 Team Nichol win.

Team Sandra Meger started strong against Team Nando Salviulo, before a few missed opportunities did them in. Team Meger started with a skippers deuce in 1, then another perfect draw led to a steal of one in the 2nd. An attempted freeze on Skip Megers last rock in the 3rd, overcurled tapping in a Team Salviulo stone, enabling Skip Nando an open draw for three to tie the game. That seemed to give Team Salviulo a boost, as they stole a single in the 4th, held Team Meger to a single in the 5th, took another single themselves in the 6th, before stealing the 7th and 8th ends to win 8-4.

Team Ken Coles battled a short staffed Team Jill Winters, skipped by Loreen Amonson this week. Both teams were held to singles in the 1st and 2nd ends, before a measured biter helped Team Coles to a three spot in the 3rd. Team Winters got their deuce in 4, and were guarding shot rock in the 5th, but came too deep on Skip Loreens last rock, allowing Skip Coles to execute a perfect double take-out for another field goal on the way to an 8-5 Team Coles win.

Team Marcus Partridge and Team Don Freschi, skipped by Richard Faunt, waged an entertaining, back and forth affair, with both teams scoring every time with their hammer advantage. Team Partridge took one in the 1st before both teams traded deuces in the 2nd to 5th ends, with Skip Partridge making a highlight, long angle raise take-out off the button in the 5th.

Team Partridge forced Skip Faunt to make a delicate hit n stay on negative ice for one in the 6th, then put up another deuce in the 7th to be two up coming home without. Team Partridge looked to have the game sealed up, but a last rock guard overcurled allowing Skip Faunt to make another tricky negative ice hit n stay for the game tying two, and an exciting  7 all tie.

Team Fines had the bye.
