Special Olympics BC-Trail programs include: 5-pin bowling, basketball, bocce, floor hockey, golf, snowshoeing, swimming, and Active Start/FUNdamentals for young athletes with intellectual disabilities, and Club Fit.

In a display of community support, the Kiwanis Club of Trail has donated $1,000 to Special Olympics BC-Trail.

This contribution highlights the club's unwavering dedication to supporting local initiatives, including creating meaningful opportunities for Special Olympics athletes in the Trail area.

The donation was celebrated during the regular Monday night bowling event at Glenmerry bowling alleys, where Special Olympics team members proudly donned their uniforms, adding a colourful touch to the evening.

The collaboration between the Kiwanis Club and Special Olympics BC-Trail exemplifies the spirit of unity and mutual support that defines the Trail community.

Such partnerships not only provide financial assistance but also foster a sense of belonging and encouragement for athletes with disabilities.
