All welcome to JL Crowe Student Art Showcase in downtown Trail

Artists featured in evening reception at the VISAC from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday

Emerging artists are being featured in an evening reception at the VISAC Thursday (May 23), from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

“The VISAC Gallery supports emerging youth artists in the community each year by hosting the local high school art class with their very own gallery exhibition,” explains Sharon Roberts, executive director, VISAC.

“We provide a location where students’ works can be brought to the public’s attention and showcase to the community at large. The show recognizes and promotes the hard work and creativity that the young artists have put into their pieces this year.”

The exhibit features around 70 artists from ages 12 to 18.

The students organized their own Thursday evening reception, so Roberts encourages the community to drop by and support their creative vision.

The downtown Trail gallery is exhibiting the JL Crowe Student Art Showcase until June 13.
