Wilf Gibbard, a Rossland pioneer born in Salmon Arm on May 10, 1913, passed away on July 4 after a life of full of adventures with friends, a life so rich in humorous tales that the family will soon publish his memoirs.

Jackie Drysdale has organized a tour of 10 remarkable and ornamental Rossland gardens for July 23, from 9:30 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Artist and former Rossland resident Brian Kalbfleisch will have his "Rossland Series" of wood tile mosaics on display at the Royal Bar and Lounge on Baker Street in Nelson for the month of July, each tile in the mosaics a piece of history salvaged during renovations of the Old Fire Hall and Bank of Montreal.
