On Tuesday, Jan. 30, Community Futures of Greater Trail presents the first session in a two-part Social Media Café Series at the Rossland Library.

Starting at noon, this free two-hour fun and educational presentation will help find ways to make social media work for you and your business.

The first session will be on the demystification of the social media world giving you a clear understanding of what will work for your business and what you want to have work for your business.

There will be a review of the top social media sites, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, and Pinterest. You will get a break down of what they do and how they can work for you. This session will also help you to create a business MAP (Marketing Action Plan) of which tools you want to use and will be useful for your business

“Every business will have a different use for social media and every person will have their own opinion, perspective and personal feelings about it,” says Chris Holland of Juggernaut Marketing Communications/Media Café Instructor, “the key is to match the needs of your business with the interests and abilities of the individual. Some people love and get it and others struggle with obstacles and fears. These sessions are developed to help people and businesses maximize their marketing efficiency without creating new stresses.”

Bring a coffee, a bagged lunch, and get an inspirational look into the chaotic world of social media from the ground up, in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. You will leave excited to learn more.

Seating is limited. For more information and to reserve a seat, please contact Loro Seymour at loro@communityfutures.com or (250) 364-2595 ext. 21.
