Rossland Public Library Announcements and Information
Programming News
• Books and Dogs Program: come read to Jack every Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., starting December 2nd. You can reserve your 15-minute Puppy Visit by coming to the library or calling 250-362-7611.
• Cool Crafts runs Tuesday afternoons from 3 to 4:00 p.m. until Dec. 14th.
• Books & Babies is every Friday from 11 to 11:30 a.m.
• Letters to Santa is in Harry’s Room. Use the stationery provided to write out your Christmas wish lists or words of encouragement for Santa. Letters must be completed by Dec. 10.
Holiday Hours
• December 21 – 23: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
• December 24 – January 4: CLOSED
• Reopen January 5: 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Art Displays
• Come in to view the artwork of Julie MacDermott, Fiona Cavallin, Lena Obal, Janell Lancaster, and Sue Greene. Shannon Roberts’ display opens on December 1st. New art will be displayed at the beginning of January. Past exhibits are in Harry’s Room.

The Raven Reads Book Club
• The next Raven Reads meets Wednesday, January 26th at 6:30 PM to discuss One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston. To participate, register at ravenreadsbookclub@gmail.com. Copies of the novel are available at the front desk.
Kootenay Local Book Club
