Pride Month: June is Pride Month. Come in and see our collection of titles for readers of all ages, including They Both Die at the End by Adam Silvera and Heather Has Two Mommies by Leslea Newman.

• Batpacks are still available! Each pack includes information and tools to help you locate, identify, and appreciate bats!

Programming News

• Kids Yoga in the Park (ages 6 to 12) is on Wednesday, June 15, and available through sign-up only. Register by calling 250-362-7611 or sending an email to communication@rossland.bclibrary.ca

Book Clubs

• On June 29, at 6:30 p.m., Raven Reads will be discussing Rachel Carson’s Silent Spring. Published in 1962, Carson exposes the damage to the environment caused by synthetic pesticides. Silent Spring kick-started the environmental movement and was named one of the 25 great science books of all time. Copies are available at the front desk.
