Rossland Fall Fair

It’s time to tend your garden and start thinking about the Rossland Fall Fair.

The Fall Fair takes place in the Rossland Arena from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept 6,  in conjunction with Golden City Days weekend.

The fair consists of an agricultural and craft exhibition as well as a wide variety of information booths and venders selling their wares.

The petting zoo is a favourite with the kids and the special attraction this year will be the Golden City Modelers Club with their model train display of Rossland’s gold-rush era.

Live music and entertainment will be ongoing in the arena throughout the day.

Children and adults are encouraged to bring their exhibits to the Arena on Friday, Sept 5 from noon to 7 p.m.  All entries will be judged with ribbons and prize money awarded. Exhibits will be on display during the Fall Fair on Saturday Sept 6.

Special sponsorship prizes from Fleishman’s, Robin Hood, Bernardin and Crisco will be awarded again this year to exhibitors in the baking and canning sections.

Look for brochures and entry forms downtown this summer and plan to attend the Fall Fair.
