Mountain Transport Institute helps drive learning at Selkirk College

This year’s class thanks MTI’s owner/CEO Andy Roberts and his team for these valuable learning tools.

The Selkirk College Heavy Mechanical Program received a generous donation from Castlegar’s Mountain Transport Institute (MTI) that will help students in the foundation program build their skills.

MTI donated and delivered a late model six-cylinder Mercedes diesel truck engine complete with a rebuilt Allison automatic transmission to Nelson’s Silver King Campus shop.

The engine, along with other miscellaneous truck parts, will assist students in honing their skills in the emerging trucking and heavy equipment industry.

This year’s class thanks MTI’s owner/CEO Andy Roberts and his team for helping provide these valuable learning tools.
