Fans of Rossland’s hockey history may want to attend an event at the Rossland Museum and Discovery Centre on Thursday.
The Rossland Ladies’ Hockey Team (formed in 1900) was recently inducted into the B.C. Sports Hall of Fame. Marilyn Buchannon, daughter of Grace Lougheed ( a member of that team) attended the induction ceremony and will present the BC Sports Hall of Fame plaque to the Rossland Museum and Discovery Centre.
The event takes place on Thursday, July 19th at 1:00 p.m.
To help celebrate this event, the cast of the Gold Fever Follies will be at the Museum and will perform a number from their current production, “Skis and Skates”. Rossland’s Mayor, Kathy Moore, and the Museum’s President, Libby Martin, will also join in the celebration
