The public is invited to Happy Halloween celebrations at the Rossland Museum and Hooper’s Bakery on the weekend.
The Rossland Museum will host a Spooky Scavenger Hunt, and encourages everyone to dress up and enter their costume contest, and try some Halloween crafts.
The Halloween celebration at the Museum goes from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 30.
This is an all-ages event and the museum has stocked up on treats, so come out and join the fun!
Hooper’s Bakery, at 2042 Columbia Ave., will also stage a Halloween concert on Sunday night, Oct. 31 (not Saturday as previously published - sorry).
Hooper’s invites the public to enjoy beverages, treats and fire stands from 4 to 8 p.m., with trick or treaters welcome between 5 and 6:30 p.m., and live music starting around 6:30 p.m.
Rossland musician Robbie Turnbull will play a free solo concert outside the bakery.
“Come out to Hoopers bakery in Rossland where I’ll be playing a venue to showcase the release of two more singles,” wrote Turnbull on a Facebook post. “Warm drinks and cookies will be provided in a cozy venue, but still remember to dress warm as it will be outdoors!”
Don’t miss it!
