The Rossland Heritage Commission is holding a clean-up day in the Columbia Cemetery on Sunday, May 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Volunteers are needed to spend a few hours cleaning up the overgrown grass and moss surrounding many of the graves.
The Columbia Cemetery can be found by driving down Highway 3B to the Mountain View Cemetery.
Enter the cemetery road and drive right up to the back where there is an unpaved road which leads to the Columbia Cemetery.
The commission encourages volunteers to join their crew to help preserve this piece of Rossland history.
