Westside wins four straight games to take series 4-1; up next Penticton

The Westside Warriors defeated the Trail Smoke Eaters 4-2 Thursday night winning the best of seven first round B.C. Hockey League series four games to one.

The Warriors scored three times in the third period to come from behind and capture the series.

Alex Grieve, Tyler Krause, Dru Morrison and Trevor Bailey, with the empty netter, scored for the Warriors.

Kevin Jebson faced 35 shots in the win.

Westside now faces the Penticton Vees in a series that gets going Tuesday March 9 in Penticton.
