Being in recovery from an injury, I just got out for my first mountain bike ride yesterday.
It’s funny that although the best sports people and the most successful in life have a coach.
Inspiration. What is it for you? Is it checking out the latest magazine? Watching videos? Getting out with your friends? The weather?
As humans we expect a lot of ourselves. Regardless of what you do, striving to be the best you can be has its highs and lows.
It’s the end of the season and many of us are heading off for our summer jobs, spring vacations or new adventures. I find at this time of the year I am always amazed at how fast the season flies by.
It’s snowing and I have so much to do. Work or play? Well, judging by the folks I met in the lift line I am thinking we are all on the same wavelength — get it while it’s good, as we only have a few weeks left.
It has been a busy week! I’ve finally had time to get back out on my cross-country skis; I forget how much I love the sport! It’s been hard to fit it in with all the ladies snowshoeing I’ve been doing, however now it is over, it is time to mix it up.
Happy Valentine’s Week! I hope it was a fun day had by all. I thought maybe that Ullr had left me a Valentines pressie on the hill, but alas there was little fresh snow; however always fun turns to be had. Maybe there will be belated presents if the current forecast holds true, fingers crossed.
This year I will be missing the Winter Carnival as I am off to a Winter Carnival of a slightly different nature.
With the winter carnival quickly approaching I thought this would be a great time to share a few thoughts on our town.
