Superhero cross-country day in Rossland tomorrow

Saturday, Black Jack Ski Club will be having an event that allows anyone to try their hand at being a superhero.

Saturday, Black Jack Ski Club will be having an event that allows anyone to try their hand at being a superhero, as long as that superhero is on a pair of cross-country skis.

So get out your best superhero costume, grab your skis and head out to the ski club's course.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and features a obstacle challenge course, which the club guarantees will be fun for all ages, from three to 100 years old.

Costume judging will follow the obstacle course and take place at 1:30 p.m.

There's the option to participate in the course solo, with a friend or with a family member.

Cookies, donated by Subway, will be available to participants.

The club is also offering free lessons in both classic and skate for beginners and intermediate skiers. Session on is at 11:30 a.m., and session two is at 12:30 p.m.
